Western Challenge Cup (WCC)

Updated April 20, 2018:

2018 Western Challenge Cup (WCC)

The western challenge cup (WCC) is an opportunity for skilled minor ball hockey players to come together to represent TCMBHA and compete at an elite level against other minor ball hockey associations from western Canada (BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba). The 2018 Western Challenge Cup (WCC) will take place in Victoria, BC from July 14th to July 16th.

Those players who believe they excel in the game of ball hockey will have the opportunity to try out for one of TCMBHA's Western Challenge Cup teams. The WCC teams are intended to be of a "rep" calibre; teams are picked through an evaluation / try-out process. Players who intend to play are expected to be fully committed and available to participate in training and the tournament.

We are currently looking for a WCC coordinator. If you’re interested in volunteering as the WCC coordinator, please contact executivedirector@tcmbha.com.

2016 & 2017 Western Challenge Cup (WCC)

The 2017 WCC Tournament was held in Sherwood Park, Alberta from July 13th - July 16th, 2017. TCMBHA was able to send one team compete in the U11 (born 2006 & 2007).

The 2016 WCC Tournament was hosted by Ridge Meadows Minor Ball Hockey Association July 14th to 17th, 2016. TCMBHA represented very well in both the U13 and U15 divisions. Congratulations to our U15 team who won Bronze in overtime - the U15 Tri-City Raiders exciting win was featured in the Tri-City News!  Well done TCMBHA players!
